SAS Group reported net income after tax of Sek506 million ($56.5 million) for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 versus a net loss of Sek208 million last year. However, owing to a continued weak business climate the group expects to report a pre-tax loss excluding restructuring costs and capital gains for 2002.
