Cintra, the holding company for AeroMexico and Mexicana, announced that the group posted a net loss of 408 million pesos ($43 million) in the first quarter of 2002 and an operating loss of 394 million pesos as total revenues fell 13.3% to 6.3 billion pesos. Domestic passenger revenues reached 3.3 billion pesos, a 15.7% decline, while international passenger revenues slid 18.5% to 2.2 billion pesos. Cargo revenues decreased 16.3%.
