Bedford to leave Mesaba.

Bryan K. Bedford, the 37-year-old executive responsible for turning Mesaba into one of the best-run US Regionals, is resigning his positions as president and CEO to assume the same jobs at Indianapolis-based. Chautauqua Airlines, a US Airways Express carrier owned by Wexford Management LIC. John S. Fredericksen. VP and general counsel, will serve as Mesaba's interim CEO.

"Bryan has always been a fix-it guy and there are a lot of growth opportunities at Chautauqua for him." said Warren Wilkinson, director-marketing and corporate communications, who worked with Bedford at Express Airlines I and Business Express before coming to Mesaba with him. …
