Saab Leasing widens European customer base.

Saab Aircraft Leasing AB has broadened its European base with orders from five established Regional airlines. New operators are Loganair, a British Airways franchise partner based in Glasgow; Air Botnia, a Helsinki-based carrier controlled by SAS; Flying Enterprise of Gothenberg, Sweden; OLT of Bremen, Germany; and Aurigny Air Services, based in Guernsey, Channel Islands.

Last month, independently owned Loganair commenced scheduled operations with two Saab 340Bs, one based in Glasgow, the second in Edinburgh. Air Botnia accepted the last of five 340As in April, while Flying Enterprise added five 340s--one 340B and four 340As. This carrier cooperates with Finnair and has ticketing agreements with Skyways, Malmo Aviation and Braathens. …
