35 years.

With this issue, ATW is 35 years old. That is quite a milestone in the publishing business and particularly in aviation publishing.

ATW has not only survived but also flourished in those three-and-a-hall decades. I attribute that to the visionary leaders who have guided this publication, each the right person at the right time to take ATW to the next level.

Our founder, and original publisher and editor, Joseph S. Murphy, recognized that the airline industry did not have a dedicated monthly feature magazine that could bring news and act as a conduit through which to communicate and share ideas with the international aviation community.
