Editor: In "Roman remake" (12/98), you refer to Meridiana as a "franchisee" of Alitalia Express in the manner of Minerva and Azzurra Air. This is not the case. Meridiana is the principal fully independent airline in Italy and has codesharing agreements with Alitalia on the following routes: Milan Malpensa-Fiumicino, Bologna-Palermo, Pisa-Catania and Turin-Catania.
