Pressure again.

Pressure again is mounting on the Indian government to privatize AirIndia and Indian Airlines. The Confederation of Indian Industry has now joined the chorus and inivited British Airways Chairman Colin Marshall to Delhi to speak on the subject.

Marshall argued that privatization is the only alternative in the current market environment and suggested that the Indian government consider reducing its stake to 40% in the two airlines in order to attract potential private investors. …
