EUC shake-up could stall aviation policy.

The mass resignation of the European Union's 20-member executive commission on March 15 as a result of a scathing report citing numerous management irregularities inside the body will likely push aviation and trade issues to the back burner while the EU grapples with this serious constitutional crisis.

The commissioners are expected to stay in office until replacements are appointed but their lame duck status likely will discourage the making of major policy on issues such as alliances and slots. …
