This beautiful volume was published originally in conjunction with an exhibit organized by the Art Institute of Chicago appearing in the Kisho Kurokawa Gallery of Architecture in 1996. It was underwritten in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, United Airlines and Lufthansa.
