U.S.-U.K. TALKS COLLAPSE.

The latest round of bilateral negotiations between the U.S. and the U.K. ended just two days after they began, when U.S. negotiators walked out, claiming there was "no possibility of making progress on any of the outstanding core issues." The outcome was a huge setback for prospects of approval for the AA/BA alliance, and BA shares tumbled later in the week.
