G-Air Holdings, parent of Miami-based Gulfstream International Airlines, a Continental Connection and United Express partner, has acquired Paradise Island Airlines of Ft. Lauderdale for more than $12 million

"We are going to merge the two companies under the umbrella of G-Air Holdings Corp.," explained Gulfstream President and CEO Tom Cooper. "There will be no change in management and Paradise Island will continue to operate its present service."

Specifically, Paradise Island will operate daily scheduled service between points in south Florida and the international airport on Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas. …
