LAPA is adding new international destinations to its network. It recently took delivery of its first 737-700 and used it to introduce twice-daily Buenos Aires-Montevideo service. LAPA fought a 15-year political battle to get rights to the route. The gradual introduction into the fleet of up to 19 additional 737-700s will give the airline the needed capacity to launch services into points in Bolivia, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay out of its Buenos Aires hub. …
