KLM said higher yields

KLM said higher yields on cargo traffic and a decline in unit costs helped lift its first-quarter 1998-99 net earnings 11.6% to 212 million guilders ($105 million). Results included a gain of Nlg47 million from KLM's sale of its 26% stake in Dutch transportation company Frans Mans NV, which was largely offset by the loss of earnings of Northwest Airlines, in which KLM has sold its holding. …
