Indonesia appointed banker Robert Djohan to succeed Soepandi as president of economically battered Garuda Indonesia as part of a reshuffling of top management.

The cash-strapped carrier said it may terminate its few remaining flights to Europe or transfer routes to KLM as part of their code-sharing pact. It is already code sharing with Swissair and Lauda Air to Zurich and Vienna. Garuda serves only Paris, London, Frankfurt and Amsterdam since abandoning several other markets. …
