Operational topics, political preview head RAA meeting agenda The staff of the Regional Airline Association acknowledge that the political and legislative agenda for 1987 carries the highest number of pressing items seen in years. RAA staff could load the schedule of its Washington Spring Meeting, March 23-25, with items relating to the expected political activities. Instead the association plans to focus more than ever on operational issues of immediate importance to its members. Additionally RAA again plans to "raffle" a Mercedes-Benz automobile supplied by German aircraft manufacturer Dornier.

"The political games centered here in Washington will have little impact on the daily running of a regional airline," explained Alan Stephen, outgoing executive VP of RAA. …
