Order, charter protection vital to liberalization -- Lufthansa London--In a hard hiting address to aviation correspondents here, Frank Beckmann, Lufthansa executive board member for marketing and sales, made it clear that Lufthansa wants a degree of liberalization in Europe, but not open-skies deregulation as in the United States, and accused U.S. airlines of "dumping" seats on the North Atlantic routes into Germany.
