Lou steps down

After a long and distinguished aviation career, much of it as a journalist, Lou Davis has decided to ease the throttle back a few notches and is stepping down from his position as our chief commuter/regional editor.

Knowing of Lou's coming departure, the folks at the Regional Airline Association decided to honor Lou at the recent spring meeting in Washington, D.C., for his contributions to the industry. RAA presented him with a plaque, the citation on the plaque noting that Lou has decided "to rearrange his workload.' He is not expected to disappear from the aviation scene when on July 1 he leaves his full-time position at ATW.

Lou has had nearly every type of aviation journalism job one could imagine. …
