French BEA confirmed earlier findings that the loss off the coast of France of an Air New Zealand A320 leased to XL Airways on Nov. 27, 2008, was owing to incorrect cleaning of critical angle-of-attack sensors and pilot actions. The A320 was on an acceptance flight in advance of its planned return to ANZ when it crashed off Canet-en-Roussillon, killing two XL pilots, four ANZ personnel and one New Zealand CAA inspector. …
