FAA reported that serious runway incursions at US airports dropped by 50% year-over-year to just six in the federal fiscal year ended Sept. 30, the second straight year they have been lowered by half. Of the six, three involved commercial aircraft. Serious incursions declined from 25 in FY2008 to 12 in FY2009.
