United Airlines in early September reversed its decision to charge for meals in economy on transatlantic flights and in domestic business class owing to "direct, candid feedback" from customers. It plans to proceed with the testing of a free but reduced meal offering in the business cabin on three-cabin aircraft flying domestic transcon routes, and it stopped serving complimentary snacks to North American economy passengers. …
