BAA to sell Gatwick.(NewsBriefs)(Brief article)

BAA last month said it plans to sell London Gatwick in response to the provisional report of the UK Competition Commission that identified "significant" problems with BAA's common ownership of LGW, Heathrow and Stansted as well as Edinburgh and Glasgow International. Citing BAA's "lack of responsiveness to the needs of its airline customers and a lack of initiative in planning capacity," the CC in August had said it was likely to require the divestiture of two of the three London area airports plus either GLA or EDI.
