Korean Air's first-quarter operating income dropped 87.1% to KRW19.6 billion ($19.5 million) "owing to the huge pressure from surging fuel costs." Revenue increased 11.5% to KRW2.27 trillion as international passenger revenue rose 10.1% and cargo revenue grew 17.8%.
