JetBlue Airways founder and Chairman David Neeleman signed a contract at the end of March for 36 E-195s, which will be operated by a new carrier based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Neeleman will leave his position at JetBlue to focus on the new airline targeted to launch in 2009. It eventually will serve most major Brazilian markets, flying up to 76 195s by 2013. The agreement with Embraer includes options on 20 aircraft plus 20 purchase rights. …
