Cathay Pacific Airways.(ASIA/PACIFIC Report)

Cathay Pacific Airways reported a profit attributable to shareholders of HK$7.02 billion ($901.9 million) in 2007, up 71.8% from the HK$4.08 billion earned in 2006. The result featured a full-year contribution from Dragonair although individual airline results were not provided. Chairman Christopher Pratt said, "The synergies between Cathay Pacific and Dragonair really began to show through and helped to further develop Hong Kong's role as Asia's leading international aviation hub for both passenger and cargo traffic. …
