Alyemen Yemen: The former Alyemda, which changed its name early this year, has resumed service between Aden and London. Its 1994 traffic results were not available at this writing.

Arkia Israeli: The Israeli carrier enjoyed good growth again in 1994, reporting to IACA that its passenger boardings jumped 14% to 742,100 and RPKs climbed 12.5% to 208.3 million.

Among Arkia's 25 aircraft are three 757s, three 737-200s, eight Dash 7s and a Twin Otter.

El Al: As it prepared for the privatization that may begin late this year, Israel's flag carrier reported its ninth consecutive year of profit, with earnings of $14 million on revenues of $1.04 billion, up 11.7%. In 1993, it had a net profit of $10 million. …
