Air Algerie: Excellent growth continued at the Algerian carrier, according to ICAO. Through November, passenger boardings were ahead 15.5% to 2,954,339, RPKs rose 8% to 2.48 billion and FTKs jumped 40% to 22 million.

Air Botswana: The national carrier of Botswana reported to ICAO that it flew 100,519 passengers and 58 million RPKs in 1994. Comparative figures for 1993 were not given.

Air Ivoire: Traffic continued to plunge at the national carrier of Cote d'Ivoire in the first five months of 1994, as passenger boardings fee 24.9% to 38,920 and RPKs dropped 21.7% to 30 million.

Air Madagascar: Through the first four months of 1994, the latest period for which numbers were available, boardings were down 5% to 114,157, RPKs were up 14.9% to 143 million and FTKs dipped 4.2% to 8.3 million.
