Delta order for CRJ900s buoys Comair prospects.(RegionalNews)

Delta Air Lines signed an order May 24 for 14 CRJ900s in a deal valued at $511 million. The aircraft will be placed with regional subsidiary Comair, apparently quelling speculation that DL would attempt to sell the Cincinnati-based carrier. Comair will take delivery of the aircraft, which will be configured with 12 first class and 64 economy seats, between August 2007 and February 2008, with the first expected to enter service in September. …
