Lufthansa announced a commitment for 15 CRJ900s and took over commitments for 30 Embraer regional jets from Swiss International Air Lines, now an LH subsidiary. LH did not indicate how it would distribute the new aircraft among its regional subsidiaries. Embraer said the commitment to 30 E-190s will supersede an existing order from Swiss for 15 E-170s and 15 E-195s and will not affect its order book. It will begin delivering the new aircraft in 2007.

Horizon Air, launch customer for the Q400, placed a firm order for an additional 15 valued at $393 million with options on 20. The firm order contract is valued at $393 million with deliveries slated to begin in October 2008. …
