The past year has been a difficult one for this wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines that operates out of its partner's hubs in Atlanta and Cincinnati. Comair, which followed Delta into bankruptcy last fall, announced in October plans to lower costs by up to $70 million and Delta has announced it will remove up to 30 aircraft from the Regional's fleet. Efforts to cut costs by imposing a new contract on flight attendants were thwarted in April when the bankruptcy court sided with cabin staff and ordered both parties back to the negotiating table. …
