SkyTeam member CSA Czech Airlines continues to struggle. New President Radomir Lasak, who took over from Jaroslav Tvrdik in January, put a revamped organizational structure in place. He also changed the carrier's management with several appointments and launched a Turnaround 2006-2008 program that supersedes the 2005-2015 Strategy that was abandoned "due to its inability to meet the plan and due to the fact that the numbers that were part of the Strategy did not correspond with the actual situation," according to a statement.

The 2005-2015 Strategy had forecast a profit of CZK522 million ($23.6 million) for 2005 whereas the expected financial results will be a loss of roughly CZK496 million. …
