Lufthansa and Vereinigung Cockpit, which represents 4,400 pilots, reached a tentative agreement on a pay accord that includes a wage freeze through March 31, 2006, and "measures to raise productivity as well a new contributory company pension plan for pilots' retirement pensions," according to airline. The changes will "reduce costs overall by around 6%." Under terms of the deal, the pilots will fly two extra hours each month prior to the onset of overtime flying. …
