Mesaba parent earnings fall.(Regional News)(Brief Article)

MAIR Holdings, parent of Mesaba Airlines and Big Sky Transportation, reported net income of $2.9 million for its fiscal first quarter ended June 30, a 17.1% decline from $3.5 million in the year-ago period. Total revenue dipped 3.8% to $109.7 million while total operating expenses climbed 2% to $107.1 million. This resulted in operating income of $2.6 million, a 45.2% decrease versus operating income of $4.7 million last year.
