The Moroccan carrier plans to move its headquarters from Casablanca close to Mohammed V International Airport 20 mi. from the city. Chairman Mohammed Berrada contracted for purchase of a plot of land at Nouaceur near the airport. Construction of the new headquarters and a 500-room conference hotel nearby is expected to take up to 18 mouths, the official state news agency MAP reported.

RAM, which operates 900 flights per week with 33 aircraft, was engaged in late May and early June in a bitter dispute with its 400 pilots that disrupted services over using ex-Sabena pilots in its Atlas blue charter subsidiary. …
