Mesa Air Group's battle to take over Atlantic Coast Airlines continued through November following the surprise bid announced by Mesa CEO Jonathan Ornstein in early October. ACA rejected the unsolicited offer and said it will continue forward with its plans to become a low-cost carrier. Undeterred, Mesa announced it would take the proposal directly to ACA shareholders.
