Midway Airlines opts for liquidation.(Regional News)(Brief Article)

A two-year struggle by financially troubled Midway Airlines came to an end when the company, moved from its Chapter 11 bankruptcy status to Chapter 7, which will require the carrier to sell off its assets. The decision to liquidate came at the end of October.

Midway was operating a fleet of eight CRJ200s as a US Airways Express carrier. By Nov. 3 its routes were being picked up by other US Airways affiliates.
