EADS.(and Airbus 1st-half earnings)(Brief Article)

EADS reported a 66 million [euro] ($75.9 million) net loss for the first half, significantly worsened from net income of 91 million [euro] last year. Revenues fell 7% to 13.06 billion [euro] and EBIT dropped 24% to 592 million [euro] from 775 million [euro] last year. Results were impacted by a 221 million [euro] rise in R&D costs at Airbus related to the A380, lower aircraft deliveries and a restructuring charge of 88 million [euro] at the Space Division.
