Deutsche Lufthansa AG posted a net loss of 34 million [euro] ($38.5 million) in the second quarter to June 30 compared with a 160 million [euro] net profit in the year-ago period as the Iraq war, SARS and "weak macroeconomic momentum" combined to depress results.
