Chautauqua pilots threaten to strike. (Regional News).

Pilots at Chautauqua Airlines will take a strike vote, claiming management "postponed meaningful negotiations" and offered conflicting statements concerning the Jets for Jobs program designed to provide jobs for furloughed US Airways pilots in exchange for growth opportunities and new aircraft at the Regional. Chautauqua's patent company, Republic Airways Holdings, announced an order for 12ERJ-145LRs three of which will be placed with Chautauqua and nine with Republic Airways, a startup that will hire furloughed US Airways pilots exclusively.

Chautauqua pilots, who are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, were particularly miffed by a comment made by CEO Bryan Bedford at the recent Regional Airline Assn. …
