Austrian Airlines Group, citing "dramatic falls in passenger business" attributable to the Iraq war and other factors, said it is adopting measures to achieve an overall cost reduction of 5% this year, equivalent to a savings of [euro]40 million ($43.6 million). Some 150 positions will be axed in addition to 930 jobs eliminated last year and four aircraft will be parked "until further notice." As an interim measure, production was reduced by 11% in April and 10% in May. …
