The seven page article is headed in three distinct sections. These consist of: 'Fire Resistance', 'Incombustibility', 'Noninflammability'.

* Traffic congestion is prompting a public demand for district fire stations in Nottingham.

* Henley in Arden Fire Brigade has only one mobile appliance, a 102 year old manual engine. This appliance requires a minimum of 16 men. The brigade strength is five volunteers.

* Chipping Norton and District Volunteer Fire Brigade is to be controlled by a new committee consisting of elected members of the Town Council and the brigade. …
