Lincolnshire launches car crime DVD.(News)(Brief article)

Youths who steal cars and leave them burnt out are the focus of a new DVD launched by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.

The educational tool is being marketed to other fire and rescue services which may wish to highlight the issue with young people or as part of community fire safety work in schools.

My Secret Habit is the first DVD of its type to feature the problem of youths taking vehicles without consent, known as twocing, as it focuses on youths' view of the activity. John Whaler, Youth Engagement Team Manager, said: "The DVD is a lively way of engaging with young people. It is an easy to follow storyline and comes at the subject more from the angle of the effect twocing has on the victims. …
