PROFESSIONAL IN TODAY'S FIRE and Rescue Service are operating in an increasingly challenging and rapidly changing environment, and I believe that ensuring we are, and we remain, a high performing organisation is vital because we exist to protect public safety and to save lives, whilst playing an increasing role in community well-being.

And this means we require the very best leaders, who are able to deal with complexity, uncertainty and our changing community roles.
