Welcome to Fire 2006--the UK's leading fire event: 8-9 November 2006.

FIRE 2006, the UK's number one fire conference, will this year be tackling the issue of resilience and will in particular focus on planning and responding to major incidents. We will also consider the importance of partnerships with other emergency services and the considerable benefits that a multi agency approach can offer the public. Amongst the specific topics to be covered at FIRE 2006 are included a case study on the Buncefield fire, national coordination for emergency planning, operational assurance and local area agreements.

The all new state-of-the-art International Centre at Telford will play host to Fire 2006. It is here you are invited to participate in the many stimulating and lively conference sessions that serve to highlight examples of best and innovative practice from across the fire and rescue service, providing valuable lessons for public and private organisations alike.
