New National Risk Assessment Register.(News)

The National Risk Assessment Register (NRAR), set up in anticipation of major changes to fire regulations through the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRFSO) was officially launched last month at the House of Commons.

At an evening reception at Westminster, representatives of the NRAR demonstrated how the "totally secure" facility will allow fire risk assessments to be stored free, ensuring compliance with the new fire safety rules affecting all non-domestic premises in England and Wales.

The NRAR site will also have a facility for auditors to access and monitor fire risk assessments from organisations/sites they have control over, allowing them to see the status of all fire risk assessments under their control using a traffic light system. …
