Cheshire uses new system.(Product guide)

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service has saved over 250,000 [pounds sterling] by implementing a copy of Greater Manchester Fire Authority's AGRESSO financial and business management system.

The collaborative arrangement is the first in what GMFA hopes will become a shared service in the region, leading to cost, efficiency and resource savings for all the fire services that join. Under the tripartite agreement, Cheshire fire used GMFA's AGRESSO Business World system as a template to carry out a vanilla build, with support from Agresso consultants and GMFA, who also provided the initial user training on the system.
