Change agenda focus at fire protection seminar.(Seminar Report)

Change was very much the focus of the 2005 British Fire Protection Systems Association (BFPSA) AGM, with the implementation of the most important piece of fire safety legislation for over 30 years less than six months away. Some 350 BFPSA members and guests attended the Annual Lunch which followed the association's AGM on November 2 at the Savoy Hotel in London.

BFPSA MEMBERS HAD HEARD from Fire Minister Jim Fitzpatrick MP, who had made time from a very hectic schedule to address members, but who unfortunately had to return to Parliament for the critical vote on the Terrorism Bill.

His place as principal guest speaker at the lunch was taken up by Clive Norris, Director of the Fire Safety Directorate at the ODPM. …
