Namibia trek challenge 2006.

Following on from the success of this year's fundraising trek to Australia, next year the FSNBF will be flying south, to Namibia, to embark on an amazing African adventure! Located in the southern cape of Africa, the diverse landscape of the Namibian Desert will be the trekkers' home for nine sensational days during September 2006.

The 140 kilometre trek will take in the area commonly known as the 'Damaraland Route', encompassing the Namibian Desert--a vast, scarcely populated area of trust land, often regarded as one of the last true wilderness areas left on earth. during the trip, trekkers will savour 200 million year old sedimentary hills, the Doros Crater--an area of immense natural beauty--and Namibia's world famous sunsets, Home to a variety of animals including black rhinos, giraffes, lions, leopards and desert elephants, the route for the trek promises to be a once in a lifetime experience. …
