Nearly there!

As the FSNBF's Phoenix Appeal begins to draw to a close, the charity is not only near to completing a highly successful Appeal, but are also on the verge of opening their brand new, state-of-the-art therapy centre.

As regular readers will already be aware, the charity began the Phoenix Appeal in late 2004. The Appeal's Patron, former Formula 1 and Indy Car World Champion Nigel Mansell, officially launched the fundraising effort last year, at Harcombe House, Devon. It was here that the charity planned to extend upon their existing recuperation centre, by building a 2.5 million [pounds sterling] therapy facility. Thanks to donations and the ongoing fundraising efforts of Fire Service personnel across the UK, the charity are now on the brink of completing this ambitious project, which will in turn assist thousands more people from the Fire Service community. …
