* The annual conference of the National Fire Brigades Association was held recently at Morecambe Bay. Two major resolutions were passed by the conference. The first: Urge upon the Minister of Education the advisability of lectures on fire prevention and panic being given to senior classes in elementary schools. That a general instruction to this effect be issued to all education authorities.' Second: To ask the Central Council of the NFBA to arrange for the establishment of more fire schools for retained and volunteer firemen.
