Kermel has developed Heroskin(tm), a complete range of outer fabrics--intended to be worn by firefighters during emergencies. Permanently flame-resistant, Heroskin(tm) guarantees a high degree of protection and retains its original appearance for an exceptionally long period of time, says the manufacturer. The new Heroskin(tm) twill fabric is made up of 99 per cent of Kermel(r) thin fibres and one per cent of antistatic fibre. Heroskin(tm) provides excellent thermal insulation as well as good mechanical strength and a high degree of chemical resistance.
